At Life Science Intelligence, Inc. (LSI), we respect your
privacy and provide you with tools to control how your personal information is used within the LSI
Compass platform. This page is designed to help you exercise your rights under applicable privacy
laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act
(CPRA), the California Delete Act of 2023, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the
Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), other U.S. state privacy laws,
the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Canada's Personal Information Protection and
Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Do Not Sell, Share, or Use My Data for Targeted
Advertising
Under California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other U.S.
state privacy laws, you have the right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal
information to third parties, as well as the use of your personal data for
targeted
advertising.
Our Policy: As stated in our full
Privacy Policy, LSI does not sell Personal Information. However, we
may "share" information with service providers to operate the Service, manage subscriptions, and
improve our analytics and AI systems. Under certain state laws, some of these activities may be
classified as "sharing" for cross-contextual behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising."
Your Choice: If you wish to opt-out of the sale, sharing, or
use of your personal data for targeted advertising under any applicable state law, please use the
button below or submit our
Data Privacy Request Form.

Sale/Sharing/Targeted Advertising2. Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal
Information
You have the right to limit the use of "Sensitive Personal
Information" (such as precise geolocation or account login credentials) to only those services
necessary to perform the business functions of LSI Compass.
Your
Choice: By clicking below, LSI will restrict the processing of sensitive data to
essential platform operations, security, and compliance only.
Limit My
Sensitive Information3. Right to Delete (Right to be Forgotten)
Whether you are a resident of any U.S. state with applicable privacy
legislation, the European Union, or Canada, you have the right to request that we permanently delete
the personal information we have collected about you.
Data Ownership
Clarification: Please note that deletion rights apply only to "Personal Information" as
defined under applicable law. All aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, and derived data —
including outputs of LSI's proprietary AI models, analytics, scoring algorithms, and enriched
datasets — is not considered Personal Information. Such data is owned exclusively by LSI, does
not constitute personal data under the GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, or any other applicable privacy statute,
and may be retained, used, and commercialized indefinitely, even after a deletion request has been
fulfilled.
Processing Timelines by Jurisdiction:
- GDPR (European Union): 30 days
- PIPEDA (Canada): 30 days
- CCPA/CPRA (California): 45 days
- VCDPA (Virginia): 45 days
- CPA (Colorado): 45 days
- CTDPA (Connecticut): 45 days
- Other U.S. State Laws: 45 days (or as specified by the applicable statute)
How to Request: Please complete our
Data
Privacy Request Form to initiate a deletion request for your Personal Information.
4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
LSI Compass honors
Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid, universal opt-out mechanism. If
your browser or a browser extension transmits a GPC signal, our system will automatically detect it
and treat it as a legally binding request to opt-out of:
- The "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (California CCPA/CPRA)
- Targeted advertising (Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA)
- Any other applicable opt-out rights under U.S. state or international privacy law
This applies regardless of your jurisdiction. You do not need to submit a separate request if GPC
is enabled — your preference is respected automatically across LSI Compass.
5.
California "Delete Act" & Data Brokers
Under the California Delete Act (SB
362), California residents have access to a state-centralized system for submitting a single
deletion request to all registered data brokers.
LSI Compass maintains
transparency regarding its data sources. If you wish to use this centralized system, you may visit
the
Delete
Request and Opt-out Platform (DROP) hosted by the California Privacy Protection Agency
(CPPA). The DROP platform allows you to submit one request that applies to all participating data
brokers, in addition to any request you submit directly to LSI.
6. Canadian Residents
(PIPEDA)
If you are a resident of Canada, the
Personal Information
Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy
legislation grant you the following rights:
- Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal information LSI holds
about you.
- Right to Correction: You may request that inaccurate or incomplete personal
information be corrected.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent for the collection,
use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual
restrictions. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use LSI Compass.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information.
Requests will be processed within 30 days.
- Right to Challenge Compliance: You have the right to challenge LSI's compliance
with PIPEDA by contacting our Privacy Officer or by filing a complaint with the Office
of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).
To exercise any of these rights, please submit our
Data Privacy Request Form or contact us at the
details listed below.
7. How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a
request for Access, Correction, Deletion, or Opt-Out of your Personal Information under any
applicable privacy law, please use one of the following methods:
8. Identity Verification
To protect your personal information and prevent
unauthorized requests, LSI is required to verify your identity before processing Access, Correction,
or Deletion requests. Our verification process includes:
- Email Confirmation: We will send a confirmation to the email address associated
with your LSI Compass account. You must respond to this email to proceed.
- Additional Verification: For sensitive requests (e.g., full data deletion or
access to detailed records), we may request additional identifying information such as your full
name, account details, or government-issued identification.
- Denial of Unverifiable Requests: If we are unable to reasonably verify your
identity, we may deny the request in accordance with applicable law and will notify you of the
reason.
9. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent — such as a
family member, attorney, or third-party privacy service — to submit a privacy request on your
behalf. To do so, the following is required:
- Written Authorization: A signed, written document (power of attorney or
equivalent) granting the agent permission to act on your behalf.
- Direct Verification: LSI reserves the right to contact you directly to confirm
the agent's authority and verify your identity before processing the request.
- Agent Identification: The authorized agent must provide their own contact
information and identification as part of the submission.
