I am Chris Danek. Like many of you, I'm an innovator at heart. We're surrounding, surrounded by innovators here. And I want to thank LSI for this forum. And I want to thank the innovators who have touched my heart, with their personal stories, and what they're accomplishing. I spent the first part of my career leading medical device development teams, and startups. The innovations that we produced are helping patients every day, and we develop them in some of the most challenging environments that a startup can face. Over the past 10 years, I've shifted my role to empowering startups. I work with founding teams to bring their concepts to life to prepare to touch human lives by bringing them to patients. I'm here today to announce a very exciting partnership with a medical device innovation incubator out of Fairhope, Alabama. Why Alabama? Here's why. Alabama is sparking innovation in a big way, with resources and funding for startups in the startup ecosystem. This is innovative, Alabama. And Alabama has a wealth of creative resources and talent, driving healthcare innovation, with world class medical research, and patient care at UAB medicine and the University of South Alabama. We want to put healthcare innovation on the map in Fairhope by connecting these resources to founders from traditional centers of medtech innovation. Here's what's happening, powered by vessel. We start with you with your vision, your ideas, my team at Bessel has helped many startups like yours, supercharge their strategy, execution, and fundraising. Through the Power BI Bessell intensive accelerator, we'll be your guides. And we'll provide expert medical device startup to advise you on your journey. Together, we've powered with hatch to create a 10 week hybrid cohort based program. And in this program, we're going to help your startups tackle critical healthcare challenges that are seen across the US and felt deeply in the southeast. We'll have workshops and expert mentorship. We'll have both pose your company to a group of sophisticated medical device investors. These investors have invested in a wide range of medical device companies, including my own. And I can speak personally that they're sophisticated patient, and they will follow their investments through future rounds. We want to connect you with the clinical resources. You'll build community, with other founders in your cohort will support you. And I'll share with you some of the details of the program. Based on questions that folks have had here at the here at the meeting. It's free to participate. Travels, stipends will be provided so that you can attend the kickoff and finale, the rest of the program. You can do virtually or in person. And you may be offered a funding opportunity through this program.
